Dr. Saima Ahsan

Dr Saima Ahsan is a UK-trained and board-certified paediatrician with over 10 years of experience delivering care across some of London's most respected teaching hospitals, including Great Ormond Street, St Mary's Hospital and The Royal London Hospital. She brings a calm, compassionate approach to treating both acute and chronic conditions in children, with a strong focus on supporting the entire family unit as central to a child's recovery and wellbeing.

Dr Ahsan has extensive experience managing complex medical needs in high-pressure multidisciplinary environments. Her clinical expertise covers general paediatric conditions, newborn health, childhood infections, acute paediatric emergencies and child safety. Beyond her NHS work, she has contributed to humanitarian paediatric care, working directly with refugee children and displaced families in crisis-affected settings, which has deepened her understanding of trauma-informed care.

She works in close partnership with parents and caregivers to ensure they are informed and supported throughout their child's care. Dr Ahsan is actively involved in training junior doctors and quality improvement projects, contributing to a culture of safety, learning and clinical excellence.
