Dr. Bilal Ahmed Ishtayeh is a family medicine specialist with a Master of Medicine qualification from Stellenbosch University in South Africa. Since 2008, he has been part of the Emergency unit at Mediclinic Welcare Hospital in Dubai. Before joining Mediclinic, he worked as a general practitioner in the accidents and emergency department at International Modern Hospital in Dubai, and previously served as a general physician in the emergency department and Early Detection and Prevention Clinic at King Hussein Cancer Center in Amman, Jordan.
Dr. Ishtayeh manages a broad range of acute and chronic health issues, from high blood pressure and diabetes to sports injuries and vaccination care. He also performs minor surgical procedures and provides travel health advice.
