Dr. Amit Kaul is a consultant general surgeon with 16 years of experience across the USA and UAE. He holds a Fellowship in Bariatric, Advanced Laparoscopic & Robotic Surgery from the University of Arizona, USA, and is ECFMG certified. He trained as a Post-Doctoral Fellow at Johns Hopkins University and completed his fellowship at the University of Arizona before establishing bariatric surgery programs and leading departments at major UAE hospitals. He now practices across Medcare clinics and hospital in Dubai.

Dr. Kaul specializes in weight-loss surgery (laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy and gastric bypass) and advanced minimally invasive procedures including anti-reflux surgery, hernia repair, gallbladder and bile-duct surgery, and bowel surgery.
