Dr. Mohammad Ghaffaripour Jahromi

Dr. Mohammad Ghaffaripour Jahromi is a specialist in cardiac anesthesia at Liv Hospital Dubai with over 37 years of clinical experience. He completed his medical degree and residency in anesthesia and intensive care at Beheshti University of Medical Sciences in Iran, followed by a fellowship in cardiovascular anesthesia and intensive care at Rajaie Cardiovascular Institute. He has trained internationally at leading centres including Harefield Hospital London, Vienna General Hospital, and Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore.

Dr. Jahromi specializes in anesthesia for complex heart surgeries, heart transplantation, and minimally invasive cardiac procedures. He is certified in transesophageal echocardiography (a specialized ultrasound technique used during heart surgery) and has extensive expertise in managing patients on ECMO (heart–lung support), mechanical circulatory devices, and perioperative intensive care. He is skilled in hemodynamic monitoring and continuous renal replacement therapy for critically ill patients.

Throughout his career, he has held multiple leadership positions, including directing cardiac intensive care units in Dubai and Tehran, and served as general secretary of the Iranian Society of Cardiovascular Anesthesiologists. He is fluent in English and Arabic, and is ideally suited for patients requiring anesthesia for complex cardiac surgery, heart transplantation, or perioperative critical care.
