Dr. Rashmi Mugur Nagappa

Dr Rashmi Mugur Nagappa is a Consultant in Family Medicine at King's College Hospital London Dubai, bringing over 12 years of post-specialist training experience across the UK and UAE. She completed her postgraduate training in the UK in 2009, where she obtained her MRCGP (Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners) and CCT (Certificate of Completion of Training). She maintains an active GMC licence, ensuring she stays current with evidence-based medical practice.

Dr Rashmi's clinical interests span the full spectrum of family medicine: she treats acute and chronic conditions, manages women's health issues, provides vaccinations, and supports mental health needs. She also holds a Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (DRCOG) from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, and an MSc in Medical Leadership from Lancaster University, reflecting her commitment to both clinical care and service improvement.

Beyond direct patient care, Dr Rashmi is actively involved in quality improvement projects. She led the Testbed project for a UK clinical commissioning group and chaired the Antibiotic Stewardship committee in her previous UAE role. She takes a whole-family approach to health, emphasizing disease prevention and health promotion alongside treatment of acute and chronic illness.
