Dr. Boris Tufegdzic

Dr. Boris Tufegdzic is a Staff Physician in the Anesthesiology Division at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi and a Clinical Professor of Anesthesiology at Cleveland Clinic Lerner College of Medicine of Case Western Reserve University. He brings 17 years of clinical experience, having trained at leading Serbian medical institutions and practiced as a specialist anesthesiologist before joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi.

Dr. Tufegdzic is skilled in routine and advanced anesthesia procedures, including management of difficult airways, general anesthesia, peripheral and central nerve blocks, and postoperative pain management. He has a particular interest in neuroanesthesia and has authored over 50 peer-reviewed scientific articles, book chapters and reviews. He also serves as a peer reviewer for multiple international journals in anesthesiology, critical care, and neurosurgery.

He holds an MBA in Healthcare Management and Leadership and was recognized with the title of Primarius by the Serbian Ministry of Health.
