Dr. Mohamed Ibrahim

Dr. Mohamed Ibrahim is an Associate Staff Physician in the Nephrology Department at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi. He trained in nephrology at Italian Hospital (Umberto Primo) in Cairo from 2003 to 2013, then earned a Master's degree in Internal Medicine and Nephrology from Ain Shams University in Cairo. Before joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, he worked as a nephrology specialist at Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City and Mafraq Hospital in Abu Dhabi for several years.

Dr. Ibrahim specializes in managing kidney disease across multiple patient settings—inpatient wards, outpatient clinics, and dialysis units. His particular focus is on glomerular diseases (inflammation of the kidney's filtering units) and treating patients with renal failure. He is experienced in hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, and evaluates patients for kidney transplant. He also has training in hemodiafiltration, an advanced dialysis technique.

Beyond clinical work, Dr. Ibrahim teaches medical students at Gulf Medical University in Ajman. He is a member of both the American Society of Nephrology and the Egyptian Society of Nephrology and Transplantation, reflecting his commitment to staying current with international kidney medicine standards.
