Dr. James Wright

James is a senior inpatient physiotherapist at Mediclinic Dubai, bringing eight years of experience from the UK's National Health Service. He graduated from Manchester Metropolitan University in 2016 with a degree in physiotherapy and spent his early career working across all core areas of physiotherapy in NHS settings, building broad clinical expertise.

His main focus is major trauma—both the acute phase immediately following serious injury and the longer rehabilitation process. James was involved in opening a new major trauma centre in Manchester, where he gained extensive experience helping patients recover movement, strength and function after complex injuries. He now applies this specialist knowledge at Mediclinic, working with inpatients through their recovery journey.

James takes a structured, evidence-based approach to rehabilitation. He is an active member of both the Health and Care Professions Council and the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy, keeping current with professional standards and best practice.
