Dr. Zarqa Noreen Shah

Dr. Zarqa Noreen Shah is a specialist obstetrician and gynaecologist with 20 years of clinical experience across the Middle East and UAE. She graduated from Allama Iqbal Medical College in Lahore, Pakistan, and completed postgraduate training at Services Hospital and the Post Graduate Medical Institute, also in Lahore. She then spent 12 years at Al Amal Maternity Hospital and Fertility Center in Amman, Jordan, where she gained expertise in obstetrics, gynaecology, and advanced fertility treatments, and obtained her MRCOG qualification. She also completed master's-level training in infertility management at Homerton University Hospital in the UK. For the past seven years, she has worked in a JCI-accredited hospital in Dubai.

Dr. Shah's clinical practice spans the full spectrum of obstetrics and gynaecology. She manages normal and high-risk pregnancies, performs ultrasound monitoring of fetal wellbeing, and conducts antenatal and postnatal care. She is experienced in vaginal deliveries, instrumental deliveries (forceps or vacuum), caesarean sections, and vaginal birth after caesarean (VBAC). She also manages miscarriages, ectopic pregnancies, and recurrent miscarriage. In gynaecology, she treats conditions including polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), endometriosis, fibroids, ovarian cysts, pelvic infections, and menstrual disorders, and performs procedures such as colposcopy, hysteroscopy, hysterectomy, and removal of cysts. She provides contraception counselling and intrauterine device placement and removal.
