Dr. Mohammed Omer

Dr. Mohammed Omer is a Specialist Anesthesiologist at Mediclinic Al Noor Hospital in Abu Dhabi, with 19 years of international clinical experience. He completed his medical degree at Bangalore Medical College in 2000 and his MD in Anesthesiology at KEM Hospital, Mumbai in 2006. After working as a consultant anesthesiologist in India for eight years, he advanced his training in the United Kingdom, obtaining his MRCA (Member of the Royal College of Anaesthetists) at CHFTNHS, Halifax, before joining Mediclinic in 2018.

Dr. Omer specializes in anesthesia across a wide range of surgical procedures. His key expertise includes difficult airway management—caring for patients whose airways are complex or challenging to secure—and regional anesthesia (numbing specific areas rather than general anesthesia). He provides anesthetic care for pediatric, laparoscopic (keyhole), obstetric, gynecological, ear–nose–throat, eye, orthopedic, bariatric (weight-loss), and vascular surgeries.

He brings extensive perioperative (before, during, and after surgery) expertise shaped by practice across India, the UK, and the UAE. Dr. Omer is fluent in six languages: English, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Urdu, and Marathi, enabling him to communicate comfortably with diverse patient populations.
