Dr. Vipin Mishra

Dr. Vipin Mishra is a Consultant Endocrinologist at Al Zahra Hospital in Dubai, bringing over 35 years of clinical experience in endocrinology and internal medicine. He trained and held academic leadership roles in India, including a 23-year tenure as Professor of Medicine and Endocrinology at GSVM Medical College, Kanpur (1985–2008), and senior consultant positions at major hospitals including Fortis, Max Vaishali, and Jaypee in Noida. He also completed a Commonwealth Medical Fellowship in the UK (1993–1994) and has been in active practice in Dubai since 2015.

Dr. Mishra's clinical work covers the full range of endocrine conditions: diabetes management (both Type 1 and Type 2), thyroid disorders, pituitary and adrenal diseases, metabolic bone disorders, and obesity treatment. He is known for staying current with advances in his field, regularly attending major diabetes and endocrinology conferences worldwide, and has published extensively in national and international medical journals. He has also supervised and co-supervised more than 50 research theses.

He is fluent in English, Hindi, and Urdu, and is an active member of the American Diabetes Association, the Endocrine Society of India, and the Research Society for the Study of Diabetes in India. His combination of deep academic training, long clinical practice, and ongoing engagement with the global endocrinology community makes him well-suited for patients with complex metabolic and hormonal conditions.
