Dr. Amal Aburawi

Dr. Amal Aburawi is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at Saudi German Hospital in Dubai, where she also serves as a visiting doctor at the CBD branch. She holds Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FRANZCOG) and brings over 32 years of international clinical experience. She trained and worked in hospitals in the United Kingdom and New Zealand before establishing her practice in the UAE.

Dr. Aburawi manages both high-risk and low-risk pregnancies, with particular expertise in diabetes in pregnancy, premature birth, twin pregnancy, and breech delivery. She supports natural vaginal delivery where appropriate, and is also skilled in instrumental delivery (forceps and vacuum-assisted), Caesarean sections, and postpartum care. Beyond obstetrics, she treats a broad range of gynaecological conditions including endometriosis, fibroids, polycystic ovarian syndrome, menstrual disorders, urinary incontinence, and vaginal prolapse. She performs minimally invasive keyhole (laparoscopic) surgery, vaginal and abdominal procedures, and gynaecological emergencies.
