Dr. Sadir Jumaa Alrawi

Dr. Sadir Jumaa Alrawi is a consultant general and surgical oncologist with 35 years of experience across the Middle East, Europe, and North America. He trained under pioneers of surgical oncology at leading hospitals in Scotland and England, and spent 18 years in the United States—including 10 years in Florida—where he completed specialized fellowship training in head and neck surgery at Roswell Park Cancer Institute. He brings extensive expertise in managing complex cancer cases and building cancer centers of excellence.

Dr. Alrawi specializes in advanced laparoscopic (keyhole) and open surgery for cancers of the stomach, pancreas, liver, colon, breast, and thyroid. He is particularly skilled in oncoplastic breast surgery with reconstruction, endocrine surgery using minimal-invasive techniques, and treatment of soft-tissue cancers. He has also developed expertise in heated intraperitoneal chemotherapy for advanced malignancies and complex wound and burn care. His work spans benign and malignant conditions across multiple organ systems.

Since 2013, Dr. Alrawi has held senior leadership roles in the UAE, including Chair of Surgery at a governmental hospital in Al-Ain and CEO of a major medical center in Abu Dhabi. He led development of a JCI-accredited breast program—the first of its kind outside the United States—and has established cancer institutes with international accreditation across multiple locations. He is a good fit for patients requiring complex cancer surgery, reconstructive breast procedures, or specialized endocrine and gastrointestinal oncology care.
