Dr. Samer Mohammad Kaaka

Dr. Samer Mohammad Kaaka is a cardiologist and internal medicine specialist with 25 years of clinical experience across the Middle East. He holds an MD from Damascus University and specialist qualifications in cardiology from Al-Basel Heart Institute in Damascus, as well as cardiovascular disease training recognized by Dubai's Department of Health and Medical Education.

Dr. Kaaka is experienced in a full range of heart diagnostics and procedures. He performs echocardiography (ultrasound of the heart), ECGs, and exercise stress tests to diagnose heart conditions. He carries out diagnostic heart catheterization (a tube inserted to view the heart's blood vessels) and therapeutic catheterization with angioplasty (PCI-PTCA) to open blocked arteries. He also implants temporary and permanent pacemakers, and is an expert in monitoring patients in the cardiac care unit.

He is active in professional organizations including the Syrian Medical Association, the Syrian–American Medical Society for Cardiology, and the European Board for Accreditation in Cardiology.
