Dr. Abhay Muglikar

Dr Abhay Muglikar is a Specialist Neonatologist at Burjeel Speciality Hospital in Sharjah with over 10 years of experience in newborn care. He trained at Southampton University Hospital in the UK under RCPCH supervision, gaining 2 years of tertiary-level neonatal experience. He completed his medical degree from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Science in Bangalore and postgraduate pediatric training from Saurashtra University in Gujarat, followed by specialist neonatology fellowship training through the Indian Academy of Pediatrics, completed in 2010.

Dr Muglikar manages the full spectrum of neonatal conditions, with particular expertise in extremely preterm infants and newborns with cardiac, surgical, and neurological complications. He brings comprehensive knowledge of intensive newborn care protocols and has worked across multiple neonatal units throughout his career, developing the clinical skills needed to lead and support busy neonatal teams.

He is an active member of several professional bodies including the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (UK), the Indian Academy of Pediatrics, and the National Neonatal Forum.
