Dr. Mahmoud Hamed Sabry Mohamed El Senbawy

Dr Mahmoud Elsenbawy is a specialist ophthalmologist with 35 years of clinical experience across Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE. He graduated from Alexandria University, Egypt with his MBCHB in 1987 and completed three years of specialized training in ophthalmology at Alexandria University Main Hospital, where he earned his master's degree in 1992. He holds FRCS (Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons) from Edinburgh, UK, obtained in 1999.

Dr Elsenbawy has extensive expertise in cataract surgery using phacoemulsification techniques, refractive error correction via LASIK and PRK, and squint (eye misalignment) correction in both children and adults. He specializes in eyelid surgeries, including blepharoplasty, and lacrimal (tear duct) procedures such as probing, intubation, and DCR (dacryocystorhinostomy). His career includes 11 years at Magrabi Hospital in Saudi Arabia, where he was appointed head of the pediatric ophthalmology and oculoplasty units at Magrabi Eye Centre Alahsaa, followed by 15 years as head of the Pediatric and Oculoplasty units at Alexandria Main Eye Hospital.
