Dr. Shammah Al Memari

Dr. Shammah Al Memari is a Consultant in Family Medicine at NMC Royal Family Medical Centre in Mohammed Bin Zayed City, Abu Dhabi, with 11 years of clinical experience. An Emirati physician, she completed her medical degree (MBBS) at the College of Medicine and Health Sciences in Al Ain in 2011, followed by residency training in family medicine at Sheikh Khalifa Medical City. She holds Arab Board Certification in Family Medicine and has undertaken advanced clinical research training at Harvard University.

Dr. Al Memari's clinical practice focuses on comprehensive family medicine, preventive health, obesity and weight management across all ages, and pediatric obesity. She has led public health initiatives including obesity prevention programs, comprehensive health screening, and childhood obesity interventions during her time at the Department of Health Abu Dhabi. She also managed research infrastructure and COVID-19 research committees in her role at the Abu Dhabi Public Health Center.
