Dr. Minoo Gharouni

Dr. Minoo Gharouni is a board-certified consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist with over 10 years of clinical experience. She trained at Tehran University of Medical Sciences, completing her medical degree in 2011, followed by specialist residency training in obstetrics and gynaecology at Iran University of Medical Sciences (IUMS) in 2017. She subsequently completed an advanced fellowship in gynaecologic endoscopic surgery in 2020, also from Iran University of Medical Sciences. She now practices at Saudi German Hospital as a consultant specialising in complex cases.

Dr. Gharouni has extensive expertise across all areas of obstetrics and gynaecology, with particular strength in minimally invasive keyhole (laparoscopic and hysteroscopic) surgery. She has performed more than 2000 advanced minimally invasive procedures and is expert in treating complex cases including severe endometriosis, uterine fibroids, ovarian cysts, and infertility-related conditions such as Asherman syndrome. She also manages high-risk pregnancies complicated by conditions like diabetes and high blood pressure, and handles all types of delivery including vaginal birth, caesarean section, vacuum-assisted delivery, and vaginal birth after caesarean (VBAC).
