Dr. Saeed Jasem Alteneiji

Dr. Saeed Jasem Alteneiji is a cardiology consultant with 21 years of experience treating heart and cardiovascular conditions. He completed his medical degree (MBBS) from MAMC-Delhi University and specialized in internal medicine and cardiology at the German Heart Center Munich under Technical University of Munich (MD). He spent 18 years at Zayed Military Hospital managing complex cardiac cases before joining NMC Royal Hospital in Abu Dhabi in 2023.

Dr. Alteneiji has expertise across the full range of heart conditions and diagnostic techniques. His experience includes transthoracic echocardiograms (ultrasound of the heart), Holter monitoring (24-hour heart rhythm recording), stress tests, nuclear heart imaging, temporary pacemaker insertion, and pericardiocentesis (draining fluid from around the heart). He has successfully treated thousands of patients with various cardiovascular diseases, including critical cases in coronary care units.

He specializes in cardiac rehabilitation for patients recovering from angioplasty (balloon widening of blocked arteries), open-heart surgery, and heart failure. Dr. Alteneiji is fluent in Arabic, English, German, and Hindi, making him accessible to diverse patients in the Abu Dhabi region.
