Dr. Leanne Brown

Dr. Leanne Brown is a Clinical Psychologist with the Psychiatry Department at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi's Neurological Institute. She holds a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Royal Holloway, University of London, and the Qualification in Clinical Neuropsychology (QiCN), which qualified her for the Specialist Register of Clinical Neuropsychologists. With over 20 years of experience, she has worked across inpatient, outpatient, and rehabilitation settings in the UK and UAE, most recently as a Clinical Neuropsychologist at Amana Healthcare's Post-Acute Rehabilitation Services in Abu Dhabi.

Dr. Brown specializes in assessing and treating adults with complex neurological and neuropsychiatric conditions. She has extensive experience with stroke, multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, neurodegenerative disorders, and traumatic brain injury. She is skilled in cognitive rehabilitation, neuropsychological assessment, presurgical evaluation for epilepsy surgery, and helping patients and families understand how brain-based conditions affect thinking, mood, behavior, and daily functioning. Her approach combines individual assessment with practical, tailored rehabilitation plans focused on quality of life and independence.

She is particularly effective with complex cases where cognitive, emotional, behavioral, and medical factors overlap. Dr. Brown works collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop treatment strategies and provide psychoeducation to support adjustment and recovery.
