Dr. Mohamed Salamony

Dr. Mohamed Salamony is a Specialist Radiologist at Emirates Hospitals Group in Ras Al Khaimah, with a strong foundation in diagnostic imaging from his medical training in Egypt. He completed his MBBS and Master's degree in Diagnostic Radiology at Suez Canal University's Faculty of Medicine, followed by advanced training in Radio-Diagnosis at Ain Shams University and international RSNA workshops in the United States.

Dr. Salamony's clinical expertise spans neuroradiology (brain and spine imaging), musculoskeletal imaging (joints, bones, soft tissues), and abdominal and pelvic imaging. He is proficient across multiple imaging modalities—MRI, CT including CT angiography and perfusion studies, ultrasound (including Doppler ultrasound), X-ray with fluoroscopy, mammography, and bone density measurement. His specialised skills include paediatric ultrasound, breast imaging, thyroid and scrotal imaging, and vascular assessment.

With prior experience managing radiology departments across government hospitals in Ras Al Khaimah and serving as Chief Medical Officer at the International Radiology Centre RAK, Dr. Salamony brings both clinical depth and departmental leadership to his practice. He is fluent in English and Arabic.
