Dr. Omar Al-Louzi

Dr. Omar Al-Louzi is an American Board-Certified Consultant Neurologist with deep expertise in multiple sclerosis and neuroimmunology. He earned his medical degree from the University of Jordan and completed specialist training at Harvard Medical School, including residencies at Brigham and Women's Hospital and Massachusetts General Hospital. He then undertook a two-year fellowship in multiple sclerosis and neuroimmunology at the National Institutes of Health (NIH), and completed postdoctoral research at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine.

Dr. Al-Louzi treats a broad range of neurological conditions, from autoimmune and infectious brain disorders to stroke, epilepsy, Parkinson's disease, and chronic headaches and migraines. He has particular expertise in multiple sclerosis, neuromyelitis optica spectrum disorder (NMOSD), and myelin-associated autoimmune diseases. His research has been funded by the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, the American Brain Foundation, and the U.S. Department of Defense.
