Dr. Surinder Sachdeva

Dr Surinder Sachdeva is a Specialist Cardiologist at LLH Hospital in Abu Dhabi, with over 30 years of clinical experience in cardiology. He completed his MBBS from Aligarh Muslim University in 1974 and his MD in Internal Medicine from Bangalore University in 1979. After serving as a Senior Physician in armed forces hospitals across India, he pursued specialized cardiology training from 1990 to 1992 at armed forces hospitals and the All India Institute of Medical Sciences. He has been practising in Abu Dhabi for 10 years.

Dr Sachdeva manages the full spectrum of adult heart diseases, including acute and chronic heart failure, coronary artery disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, and high cholesterol. He performs and interprets electrocardiograms (ECG), echocardiograms (ultrasound of the heart), and stress tests. He assesses cardiovascular risk in patients and provides chest pain evaluation and management. He has published over 25 papers on medicine and cardiology, and regularly presents at national and international conferences.

His special focus is on patient education, heart failure, difficult-to-control diabetes and high blood pressure, and helping patients prevent heart attacks or recover fully after one. He works with patients seeking preventive care and those managing complex chronic heart conditions.
