Dr. Sobhana Chandran

Dr. Sobhana Chandran is a consultant ENT specialist and head & neck surgeon with over 10 years of experience. She trained at leading institutions including Kasturba Medical College in Manipal and completed her specialist training at Topiwala National Medical College in Mumbai, followed by a DNB qualification from the National Board of Examinations, India. She is a Member of the Royal College of Surgeons of England. Currently based at NMC Healthcare in Abu Dhabi, she brings a patient-centered approach to diagnosing and treating ear, nose, and throat conditions in adults and children.

Dr. Chandran handles a broad range of ENT conditions and emergencies, including vertigo, hearing loss, chronic sinusitis, and voice problems. She performs numerous surgical procedures including endoscopic sinus surgery, septoplasty (straightening the nasal partition), tonsillectomy and adenoidectomy, mastoidectomy (ear bone surgery), grommet insertions for ear drainage, micro laryngeal surgeries, and tracheostomy.
