Dr. Yasir Parviz

Dr Yasir Parviz is a UK Board Certified Interventional Cardiologist with over 20 years of experience across leading healthcare systems in the UK, USA, Canada, and the UAE. He serves as Head of Cardiology at Emirates Hospitals Group and is recognised as one of Dubai's leading interventional cardiologists. His expertise centres on using advanced coronary imaging and physiology techniques to help patients avoid unnecessary stents and optimise their treatment outcomes.

Dr Parviz specialises in complex coronary interventions including primary and salvage angioplasty, chronic total occlusions, bifurcation lesions, and vein graft disease. He has particular expertise in intravascular ultrasound, optical coherence tomography, and pressure wire assessment — advanced imaging tools that provide precise information to guide treatment decisions. He is also proficient in coronary atherectomy, rotational atherectomy, renal and peripheral interventions, and temporary pacing.
