Dr. Nadeem Pervez is a Consultant in Radiation Oncology at Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City in Abu Dhabi, with over 25 years of clinical experience across the Middle East, Europe, and North America. He holds board certifications from both Canada (FRCPC) and Ireland (FFR, RCSI), and completed his medical degree at the University of Karachi followed by advanced oncology training at the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and the University of Alberta, where he earned a Master's degree in Oncology.
Dr. Pervez specializes in treating breast and prostate cancers using radiation therapy and brachytherapy (a type of radiation treatment delivered internally). He was instrumental in establishing prostate brachytherapy programmes in the Middle East and co-chaired the Breast Cancer Group in Alberta, contributing to provincial treatment guidelines. His research has appeared in leading journals including The Lancet, JAMA, and the Journal of Clinical Oncology, and he has secured competitive research grants for investigator-led clinical studies.
