Dr. Saad Ghazal Aswad

Dr. Saad Ghazal Aswad is a consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist with over 40 years of clinical experience. He graduated from Aleppo University with his medical degree in 1980 and completed postgraduate training in the UK in general surgery, urology, and obstetrics and gynaecology between 1982 and 1989. He holds fellowships from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and the Faculty of Public Health (Royal Colleges of Physicians, UK), and earned his PhD from the University of Newcastle.

Dr. Aswad is particularly experienced in diagnosing and managing cancers and pre-cancerous conditions of the female reproductive organs (vulva, vagina, cervix, uterus, and ovaries), as well as all gynaecological diseases. He has extensive training in gynaecological oncology, having completed a fellowship at Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Gateshead — the largest female cancer centre in the UK — and possesses advanced qualifications in colposcopy and family planning. He is skilled in treating patients with complex histories of previous pelvic surgery.
