Dr. Christina Newton

Christina is an Irish physiotherapist with over a decade of clinical experience across the UK and UAE. She graduated with a BSc in Sports Science and Health from Dublin City University in 2012, followed by an MSc in Physiotherapy from Queen Margaret University, UK in 2015. After qualifying, she worked across multiple NHS departments in the UK, developing a particular interest in post-operative recovery, musculoskeletal injuries, and sports-related conditions. She also served as lead physiotherapist for local UK rugby clubs, gaining hands-on experience in sports rehabilitation.

Since moving to Dubai, Christina has continued to expand her expertise in orthopaedic and musculoskeletal injuries while working with diverse patient populations, including Arabic-speaking communities. Her treatment toolkit includes manual therapy, dry needling, and tailored exercise prescription. She joined Mediclinic in 2022 and brings a patient-centered philosophy to her work.

Christina's goal is to educate and empower her patients to manage pain and prevent future injury. She's a good fit if you're recovering from surgery, dealing with a sports injury, or seeking hands-on manual therapy combined with a structured exercise programme.
