Dr. Mohd Rami Al Ahmar

Dr. Mohd Rami Al Ahmar is a Consultant in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Reem Hospital in Abu Dhabi, with over 24 years of clinical and leadership experience. He holds a Jordanian Board certification in PM&R and completed specialist training including a Spinal Cord Injury Fellowship at Robert Jones & Agnes Hunt Hospital in the UK. He has led major rehabilitation departments, including the Spinal Injury Unit at King Hussein Medical City in Jordan, and served as General Director of a major hospital in Al Ain, UAE.

Dr. Al Ahmar specializes in musculoskeletal and neurological rehabilitation, with particular expertise in spinal cord injury, stroke recovery, traumatic brain injury, and pain management. He treats chronic back and neck pain, sports injuries, post-surgery rehabilitation (including joint replacement and spine surgery), amputee rehabilitation with prosthetics and orthotics, and neurological conditions such as multiple sclerosis and Parkinson's disease. He also offers ultrasound-guided injections for pain relief and specializes in pediatric rehabilitation, including cerebral palsy and developmental delays.

Fluent in English and Arabic, Dr. Al Ahmar is recognized internationally as an expert in rehabilitation medicine. He has advised the World Health Organization on rehabilitation guidelines, founded the Middle East North Africa Spinal Cord Injury network, and served as a regional representative for the International Spinal Cord Injury Society.
