Dr Sanjay Ratanlal Rathi is a UK-certified Consultant Paediatrician and Endocrinologist with 34 years of clinical experience. He spent 14 years as a Consultant Paediatrician in the UK with expertise in diabetes and endocrinology, including 2 years at King's College Hospital in London, before joining NMC Healthcare in Sharjah. He specialises in managing diabetes and endocrine disorders in children, with particular focus on type 1 diabetes, obesity, growth disorders, puberty problems, and thyroid conditions.

Dr Rathi takes a holistic, individualised approach to managing children with long-term conditions. He works closely with families to develop personalised care plans and believes that every child is unique and requires tailored treatment. He stays current with the latest treatment options and technologies in paediatric endocrinology and has been actively involved in research in this field.

He is also an enthusiastic educator who has trained medical students, junior doctors, and nursing staff at various levels.
