Dr. Simon Myers

Dr. Simon Myers is consultant and division chair of the burn surgery division at Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City in Abu Dhabi. He holds a PhD in skin repair, regeneration and engineering from Queen Mary University of London, and trained as a plastic surgeon in London and the South East of England. With over 20 years of clinical experience, he previously directed London's Burn Centre at Chelsea & Westminster Hospital and served as a burn consultant at St Andrew's Burn Centre in Broomfield, Essex.

Dr. Myers specializes in acute burn care and scar management following burn injury. He is experienced in managing severe burns, burn reconstruction, and the complex surgical challenges that arise from thermal injury. His expertise extends to microsurgical reconstruction techniques used in burn recovery.

He is well-suited for patients with significant burn injuries requiring specialist surgical care and those seeking expert management of burn scars.
