Dr. Ahmed Farah Abdulrahman

Dr. Ahmed Farah Abdulrahman is a Consultant Vascular and General Surgeon at Mediclinic Airport Road Hospital and Mediclinic Welcare Hospital in Abu Dhabi. He is American Board certified in Surgery and brings extensive expertise in both traditional open surgery and minimally invasive endovascular techniques.

Dr. Abdulrahman trained at the University of Jordan in Amman and completed advanced surgical fellowship at New England Deaconess Hospital affiliated with Harvard Medical School in Boston. He previously served as Head of Vascular Surgery at Cooper Green Hospital in Birmingham, Alabama, where he led a vascular surgery program and specialized in complex vascular and endovascular interventions.

His clinical expertise spans the full range of vascular conditions: varicose veins, diabetic foot infections and ulcers, peripheral arterial disease, small vessel disease, aortic and visceral aneurysm repair, carotid artery disease, and dialysis access creation and maintenance. As an Emirati national fluent in both English and Arabic, Dr. Abdulrahman is well positioned to provide patient-centered care to Abu Dhabi's diverse population.
