Dr. Madhava Kakani is a specialist anaesthetist with 12 years of clinical experience, trained in both general and cardiac anaesthesia. He completed his MBBS from Bangalore Medical College in 1999, followed by an MD in Anaesthesiology from JSS Medical College in 2003, and a postgraduate diploma in Cardiac Anaesthesiology from All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi in 2008.
Dr. Kakani gained extensive experience working with leading cardiac surgeons in India, including at AIIMS where he was exposed to more than 3,500 cardiac cases annually. He subsequently joined Wockhardt Hospital, known for off-pump coronary artery bypass (OPCAB) procedures, and led the Cardiac Anaesthesia department at both Seven Hills Hospital and Apollo Hospital in Visakhapatnam for over 4 years. He is particularly experienced in anaesthesia management for off-pump CABG and complex cardiac procedures.
He is well-versed in anaesthesia for both adult and paediatric cardiac patients, bringing specialised knowledge to high-complexity cases. He now practises at NMC Healthcare in Al Ain.
