Dr Olusegun John Oluwole is a specialist neurologist and clinical neurophysiologist at King's College Hospital London Dubai, where he pioneered the Clinical Neurophysiology service. He obtained his medical degree (MBBS) from the University of Ilorin, Nigeria in 2006, completed internal medicine training at the Federal Teaching Hospital Gombe (2009–2012), and specialized in general neurology at University College Hospital Ibadan, one of West Africa's leading teaching hospitals (2012–2015).
Dr Oluwole has pursued advanced training across three continents in his areas of special interest. He completed clinical master's degrees in both epilepsy (Sfax University, Tunisia, 2020–2022) and child neurology (University of Tor Vergata, Rome, 2018–2020). He trained in EEG interpretation for epilepsy diagnosis through the International League Against Epilepsy (basic course 2016–2017, advanced course 2020–2021), underwent observership at the Comprehensive Epilepsy Centre in Munich, and earned formal certification in nerve conduction studies and electromyography (EMG) from the American Academy of Clinical Electrodiagnosis. Dr Oluwole sees a broad range of neurological conditions and has particular expertise in headache management, epilepsies, and peripheral nerve disorders. He is a good fit for patients needing specialist evaluation of chronic headaches, suspected seizures, nerve pain or weakness, or dizziness, especially those who may benefit from advanced diagnostic testing such as EEG or EMG.
