Dr. Emad Al-Barrishi

Dr. Emad Al-Barrishi is an orthopedic consultant with over 25 years of clinical experience across the Middle East and UAE. He trained at the University of Jordan and completed his orthopedic residency through the Jordanian Ministry of Health, then pursued advanced fellowship training in hip and knee replacement at ENDOKlinik in Hamburg, Germany. He has performed more than 4,000 surgeries and held senior leadership roles including head of orthopedic departments and assistant medical director before joining Emirates Hospitals Group.

Dr. Al-Barrishi specializes in primary and revision hip and knee replacement, sports injuries treated with arthroscopic (keyhole) techniques, complex trauma surgery, and hip preservation approaches. He also leads orthopedic rehabilitation programs. His experience spans both routine joint replacements and complex revision cases, as well as acute injury management across trauma and sports medicine.
