Prof. Hani A. Salam

Prof. Hani Abdul Salam is an oral and maxillofacial surgeon based at Emirates Hospitals Group in Dubai. He completed his DDS at Lebanese University and specialist training in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the University of Toronto, followed by a PhD from McGill University in Canada. He is an Adjunct Professor at McGill University and Shriners Hospital Montreal, a faculty member at the University of Toronto, and a part-time Professor at Gulf Medical University in the UAE.

His practice covers the full range of surgical dentistry: dental implant placement using 3D computer guidance, removal of impacted wisdom teeth and other impacted teeth, bone grafting to rebuild lost jaw bone, jaw realignment surgery (orthognathic surgery), repair of jaw fractures, and treatment of jaw cysts and tumors. He also manages temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders causing jaw pain and facial infections. He offers both general anesthesia and conscious sedation for patient comfort during procedures.

Prof. Salam is actively involved in continuing education and research, serving as Director of the World Dental Federation Continuing Education Program for the Middle East. He has published in peer-reviewed journals and is a regular speaker at international conferences. He emphasizes precision, patient comfort, and compassionate care in all his work.
