Dr. Maryam Tahmasebi

Dr Maryam Tahmasebi is a cardiologist with over 15 years of professional experience diagnosing and treating a wide range of heart and circulation conditions. She trained at Zanjan University of Medical Sciences in Iran (1998–2001), followed by specialist cardiology training at Tehran University of Medical Sciences (2005–2009). She now practises at Emirates Hospitals Group in Dubai.

Dr Tahmasebi is skilled in both diagnostic procedures—including exercise stress testing, echocardiography, coronary angiography, cardiac CT scans, and 24-hour blood pressure and ECG monitoring—and managing complex cardiac emergencies. She has particular expertise in coronary artery disease, valvular heart disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, and high blood pressure.

Beyond her clinical work, she is committed to cardiovascular health education, having founded an educational website and social media platform to share evidence-based prevention strategies with the public.
