Dr. Pooja Rajesh Vaswani

Dr. Pooja Vaswani is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with 37 years of experience in women's health. She trained at Indira Gandhi Government Medical College in Nagpur, India, where she completed her MBBS in 1985, Diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 1989, and MD in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 1992. She moved to the Middle East in 1999 and has worked across the UAE and Sultanate of Oman, including six years at SEHA-managed facilities (Mafraq Hospital and Madinat Zayed Hospital) and over nine years with the Ministry of Health in Oman. She speaks fluent Arabic and has built deep clinical experience across multinational patient populations.

Dr. Vaswani specializes in high-risk pregnancy, operative vaginal delivery, complicated caesarean sections, and twin pregnancies. She has managed countless deliveries including complex cases involving fibroids and provides non-invasive prenatal testing (NIPT). Beyond maternity care, she offers laparoscopic and major gynaecological surgery, infertility treatment with a fellowship in reproductive medicine, and preventive screening for cervical and breast cancer, plus menopause management.

Her patient-centred approach and cultural awareness make her particularly well-suited to women navigating complex pregnancies or seeking comprehensive gynaecological care. She holds MRCOG (2005), Diploma in Minimal Access Surgery (2008), Fellowship in Reproductive Medicine (2015), FRCOG (2017), and FICOG (2020).
