Dr. Purnima Thakur

Dr. Purnima Thakur is a Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at NMC Specialty Hospital, Al Ain, bringing over four decades of clinical experience to women's health. She trained extensively across the UK, India, and the UAE, holding positions as Senior House Officer at major teaching hospitals including Singleton Hospital in Swansea and University Hospital of Wales in Cardiff. Her qualifications include an MBBS from Kolkata (1969), Diploma in Obstetrics from the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in London (1973), and membership and fellowship of the same college (MRCOG and FRCOG). She has also held the honorary title of Clinical Assistant Professor with the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences at UAE University.
