Dr. Lama H.A Tabasha

Lama Tabasha is a clinical dietitian with nearly five years of experience in inpatient and outpatient nutrition care. She earned her bachelor's degree in Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics with highest honours from the University of Sharjah in 2018, and completed postgraduate training at Al Mafraq Hospital before obtaining her HAAD license. During her studies, she interned at several government hospitals including Dubai Hospital and Al Qasimi Hospital, and received community nutrition training through the Ministry of Education in Dubai.

She specializes in weight management for both adults and children (age 8 and above), post-surgical nutrition care following bariatric and gastrointestinal procedures, and managing nutrition needs for chronic conditions. These conditions include high blood pressure, high cholesterol, pre-diabetes, diabetes (including gestational diabetes), coeliac disease, irritable bowel syndrome, gout, and chronic kidney disease.

Lama is particularly passionate about working in medical wards and providing one-on-one nutrition counselling in outpatient clinics, combining her expertise in acute hospital care with personalized dietary guidance.
