Dr. Wael El Masri

Dr. Wael El Masri is a consultant neurologist at Mediclinic Abu Dhabi with extensive training in France and clinical experience across the Middle East. He completed his medical degree at Damascus University in Syria in 1992, followed by specialist qualifications in neurology and neurophysiological explorations at leading French institutions (Université de Caen and Université Paris VI). Before joining Mediclinic in 2013, he worked as a neurologist and neuroelectrophysiologist at hospitals and clinics throughout Lebanon, building a strong foundation in complex neurological conditions.

Dr. El Masri's clinical expertise spans cerebrovascular disease (stroke and related conditions), epilepsy with EEG interpretation, neuromuscular disorders with electromyography (EMG) testing, sleep disorders, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, and neuropsychiatric conditions. He is skilled in neurophysiological investigations including evoked potentials and sleep studies, allowing him to both diagnose and manage a wide range of neurological problems.
