Dr. Yaser Elhenawi

Dr. Yaser Elhenawi is an Associate Staff Physician in the Cardiovascular Medicine Department at Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi's Heart, Vascular & Thoracic Institute. He holds an MD from Alexandria University in Egypt and completed his residency training there, followed by a Master's degree in Critical Medicine. He is a member of the Royal College of Physicians in the United Kingdom, reflecting his international training credentials.

With over 30 years of experience in cardiology, Dr. Elhenawi specializes in general heart and vascular care with particular expertise in cardiac imaging (ultrasound of the heart from both outside and inside the heart using a probe). He is certified by the European Association of Cardiovascular Imaging in transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography. His clinical interests include acute heart emergencies, cholesterol management, and advanced cardiac diagnostic imaging. Before joining Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi, he worked as a consultant cardiologist at several Abu Dhabi medical centers including Sheikh Khalifa Medical City, where he spent a decade building his expertise.
