Dr. Sameer Sajwani

Dr. Sameer Sajwani is a specialist paediatric cardiologist with 25 years of experience in the diagnosis and management of heart conditions in children. He trained in cardiology and internal medicine at leading institutions in India, including Indraprastha Apollo Hospital in New Delhi, and completed his medical degree at Thanjavur Medical College in Tamil Nadu. He is currently a full-time paediatrician cardiologist at Latifa Hospital in Dubai and provides emergency cardiac consultations to major hospitals across the emirate.

Dr. Sajwani's clinical expertise spans congenital heart disease (heart conditions present from birth), acquired heart disease including rheumatic heart disease and Kawasaki disease, cardiac murmurs, arrhythmias (irregular heartbeats), palpitations, chest pain, and syncope (fainting). He uses evidence-based approaches to evaluate and treat children with structural and functional heart problems, from diagnosis through ongoing care and emergency management.

He is a founding member of the Nabadat initiative, a global programme providing paediatric cardiac services in partnership with the Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Charity and Humanitarian Establishment.
