Dr. Biju Krishnan

Dr. Biju Krishnan is a Consultant Haematologist at Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City in Abu Dhabi with 16 years of experience. She trained entirely in London, UK, where she was chair of the haematology department at Queens Hospital—one of the busiest cancer centres in the greater London area. She holds fellowships from the Royal College of Pathologists and membership in the Royal College of Physicians.

Dr. Krishnan specialises in malignant blood disorders including leukaemia, lymphomas, and myeloma, as well as benign blood conditions and bone marrow pathology. She performs bone marrow biopsies and other interventional procedures. As lead for lymphoma and myeloma services, she was a principal investigator for multiple national and international clinical trials, and she initiated and managed specialised immune haematology clinics. She is expanding access to CAR-T cell therapy and other cellular therapies at her current hospital.

She is known for mentoring junior haematologists and is committed to growing clinical trial opportunities and advanced cell therapy programmes in Abu Dhabi.
