Dr. Rana Abounakad

Dr. Rana Abounakad is a licensed clinical psychologist with the Department of Health (DOH) in Abu Dhabi, with more than 9 years of experience in mental health. She holds a Master of Science in Clinical Psychology from the University of the United Arab Emirates (UAEU) and completed her clinical internship at Sheikh Khalifa Medical City. Her background spans culturally and professionally diverse clinical settings, equipping her with strong cross-cultural competence.

She works with adolescents and adults, addressing a broad spectrum of mental health concerns including anxiety disorders, depression and mood disorders, personality disorders, interpersonal difficulties, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), adjustment problems, and psychosis.
