Dr. Sahar Elghawaby

Dr. Sahar Elghawaby is a Specialist Paediatrician at Medcare Medical Centre in Dubai, with 23 years of clinical experience. She trained at Ain Shams University in Egypt, where she completed both her medical degree (MBCCh) and Master's degree in Paediatrics. Early in her career, she worked as a House Officer in Paediatrics at Ain Shams University Hospital, then practised across Egypt, Kuwait, and Saudi Arabia before relocating to the UAE. She has held positions at respected institutions including Sheikh Khalifa General Hospital, NMC Hospital, the Dr. Suleiman Al Habib Group, and Prime Medical Center.

Dr. Elghawaby specialises in general paediatric disorders affecting children and adolescents, with a particular focus on paediatric critical care. She has extensive expertise in immunizations, nutritional disorders and vitamin deficiencies, growth and development assessment, and managing infectious diseases. She has successfully treated acute respiratory tract infections, urinary tract infections, gastroenteritis, anaemia, asthma, gastrointestinal disorders, and infant eczema. She is skilled in newborn and infant care and is proficient in managing allergies, urticaria, asthma, and endocrine disorders in children.
