Dr. Praveen Sreekanthalal

Dr Praveen Sreekanthalal is a consultant paediatrician with 14 years of experience, currently practising in Abu Dhabi. He completed his medical degree (MBBS) at Sri Ramachandra Medical College in Chennai, India, and went on to obtain specialist qualifications including a Diploma in Child Health, a Diplomate of National Board (DNB) in Paediatrics, and a Fellowship in Paediatric Cardiology from The Madras Medical Mission. He holds multiple international certifications including FRCP from the Royal College of Physicians of Edinburgh, MRCPCH from the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health (UK), and European Board of Paediatrics certification, alongside memberships of medical colleges in Ireland and Scotland.

Dr Praveen specializes in general paediatrics and the management of acute childhood illnesses, with particular expertise in paediatric heart conditions, childhood infections, and nutritional health in children. He has completed advanced training in patient-centered clinical nutrition from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and holds certification in maternal, infant and young child nutrition. He is a regular speaker at national and international medical conferences and has published research in peer-reviewed journals. Dr Praveen is recognized for his evidence-based, compassionate approach and is regarded as a reliable child specialist by families across Abu Dhabi.

He is fluent in English, Malayalam, Tamil, and Hindi, which enables him to communicate effectively with families from diverse cultural backgrounds. He is a life member of the Indian Academy of Paediatrics, the Paediatric Cardiac Society of India, and the National Association for Healthcare Quality.
