Dr. Andrew Jenkinson

Dr. Andrew Jenkinson is a general surgeon with 30 years of experience at leading London hospitals, now practising at Reem Hospital in Abu Dhabi. He trained at prestigious teaching hospitals including Hammersmith Hospital, Royal London Hospital, and University College London Hospital, and holds a Master of Surgery degree based on his research thesis. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons and an active member of major obesity and surgical societies.

Dr. Andrew specializes in bariatric (weight-loss) surgery for obesity and type 2 diabetes, offering gastric sleeve, bypass, band, and revisional procedures. Beyond bariatric work, he treats acid reflux disease, gallstones, all types of hernia repair, and abdominal pain. His research interests focus on minimally invasive (keyhole) techniques, and he has published over 80 research papers.
