Dr. Israa Khalid Ali

Dr. Israa Khalid Ali is a Consultant in Obstetrics & Gynaecology at Medcare Hospital Sharjah, with 24 years of clinical experience across Iraq, Yemen, and the UAE. She trained at the University of Baghdad and holds membership of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (UK), as well as Arab Board certification. She also completed a Master's degree in Healthcare Administration from George Washington University.

Dr. Ali offers comprehensive care across the full pregnancy journey — from planning and antenatal screening through delivery and postnatal support. She specializes in managing both straightforward and high-risk pregnancies, including those complicated by medical conditions, and provides expert surgical care when needed. Beyond obstetrics, she treats menstrual disorders, polycystic ovaries, recurrent miscarriage, infertility, and gynaecological conditions including endometriosis and fibroids using both minimally invasive keyhole surgery and open surgical techniques. She also offers hormone advice for women approaching or in menopause, contraception counselling, and cervical cancer screening.
