Dr. Leon Alexander

Dr. Leon Alexander is a plastic and hand surgeon with 15 years of experience. After establishing a strong practice in India, he relocated to the UAE in 2017 and joined Medeor Hospital in Abu Dhabi, where he founded and led the Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery from the ground up.

He treats a wide range of conditions including hand injuries, burn scars, facial deformities, and problems affecting the lower limbs. His work spans reconstructive surgery—repairing damage from trauma, burns, or disease—alongside cosmetic procedures such as body contouring (liposuction, tummy tucks), breast surgery, and facial rejuvenation (eyelid lifts, fat grafting). He also manages complex cases involving nerve repair, cancer reconstruction, pressure sores, diabetic foot complications, and lymphedema.

Dr. Alexander emphasises achieving balanced results in form, function, and appearance. He has published around 30 peer-reviewed articles and two book chapters, and serves on the editorial board of several medical journals. He is fluent in English, Hindi, Malayalam, Tamil, and Arabic.
